Counter UAS Intensive: From Response to Operations

Small Uncrewed Aerial Systems (sUAS/UAS) are an increasing concern to organizations and facilities and can no longer be ignored. Some of the industries that are most vulnerable to this growing threat are critical infrastructure/utilities, government facilities, including DoD, and mass gathering venues. 

Don’t leave your facilities (or your clients’) unprotected and unprepared for a drone incident! Our Counter UAS courses provide professionals with the knowledge and frameworks needed to incorporate the air domain into comprehensive security programs.

Please note that the CUAS and Law and DVRA courses are prerequisites for this session!

DRONE EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANNING (DERP) 

The content of this course is focused on planning and implementing response procedures based on the findings of a DVRA. 

It helps participant prepare to address drone incursions or incidents by identifying and organizing internal and external resources in a coordinated manner to ensure prompt and effective response.

LEFT OF DRONE (UAS) LAUNCH (LoDL) 

This course offers the next evolution in CUAS security by transitioning the DERP into a preventive plan designed to respond to an anticipated event. 

During the LoDL course, because many aspects of the DERP are applicable, participants will learn to adapt and enhance emergency procedures to develop a proactive and pre-emptive approach to address a likely drone incursion or aggression. 

Who should attend? 

This training is open and suitable for anyone with a need or interest in protecting facilities against drones, private sector or government, including facilities and security staff, decision-makers, security consultants, insurers, and law enforcement officials.  It is essential for inclusion in comprehensive security programs. 

Training Dates

Tuesday, July 29th to Friday, August 1st.  

Days typically run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with Friday generally ending earlier, depending on the number of students.  The CAPSTONE exercise allows for students to work on a realistic plan for a designated location.
